The key to making a Multiple Madness medallion is (12) repeats. You could even use 12 panels. The yardage needed for the medallions is based on the length of the repeat and the number of medallions needed for the project. The repeat of a design on fabric can be anywhere from 8" to 24". The following fabric requirements are approximate: If the repeat is 23-24 inches then 8 and a half yards of fabric will be needed and you will be able to make approx 21 medallions. If the repeat is 14-16 inches then 5 and a half yards of fabric and you will have approx 14 medallions. If the repeat is 8-12 inches then 4 yards of fabric and you will have approx 7 medallions.
