Quilt Block 101- 3 part class: learn basic quilt block making by attending THREE (3) consecutive class sessions and produce your own table runner as a result of what you learn.   Learn the easy way of making half-square triangles and using the tools to make them. 

Learn basic quilt block making by attending THREE (3) consecutive class sessions and produce your own table runner as a result of what you learn.  Quilt 101 - Three part classes: Wednesdays, May 11th, 18th, and 25th; In three 9am to 3pm sessions, Cinda will have you feeling very comfortable sewing a quilt top. Make blocks using a variety of techniques such as: straight piecing, half-square triangles and flying geese.  Also, learn how to get a scant 1/4 inch seam.  Learn to quilt the table runner (using straight-line machine quilting) and make a binding.  You will finish with a completed table runner plus another one to finish at home!   You can choose your fabric (with the help of the color experts at Anything Sews) and receive 15% discount!

Requirements:
Bring your own sewing machine in good working order. Also bring attachments, rotary cutter, mat, scissors, marking pen/pencil, thread, bobbin(s), storage container for your materials and completed blocks.

Cinda Pottmeyer is an accomplished sewer and extremely patient with students of all ages. Cinda has been sewing her entire life and has produced countless sewing projects at all skill levels. She has recently co-authored the book "Multiple Madness" (a companion book to the class that is unique to our store- "Multiple Madness")
