TOT23: Tools of the Trade Bag

Carry everything you need in these sturdy organizers.
The front zips open for easy access to rulers, cutting mats, sketchbooks, tools, and supplies. The small portfolio holds a 12"x18" mat, the large holds an 18"x24" mat.

Quilting Services available to quilt 1 1/2 to 4 yards of Main fabric, Soft and Stable and Lining fabrics. 4 yards is enough to make both sizes.
Deadline to have your main, lining and Soft and Stable quilted by Chris is December 6, 2023.

PREWORK: Start your pre-work at least 3 days before the class. All pattern pieces should be quilted. If you are doing your own quilting, follow the instructions on pages 1-3 (Steps A - C.) Keep your quilting simple. Straight or diagonal lines work great. Completion of your bag by the end of Session 2 is determined by you having all your pre-work complete.

This is a 2 session class.
Session 1: Cut and label all pattern pieces. Cutting suggestions are on pages 16-18.  I suggest you mark all pieces on your fabric before you cut any pieces.  If using directional fabric, double check to ensure the pieces are laid out the way you envisioned your finished piece.  Seal all edges for pieces that have. Soft & Stable between the main and lining fabrics.  (Page 3 "C")  Fuse interfacings, prepare all components from Page 3 - Page 9 Step E.

Session 2: Page 9 Step VII through Page 15 with a completed bag. (That's our goal!)
